Physio, Osteopathy, Psychology and Personal/Group Training
Meet the team of Allied Health Professionals!
About MIHS
Mansfield Integrated Health Service (MIHS) is located at the rear of Mansfield Medical Clinic. The facility has a number of Allied Health consulting rooms, and a well-equipped gym for use by the practitioners and personal trainers with their clients.
It is also the location of an Australian Clinical Labs collection centre.
It provides a facility to accommodate a number of Allied Health practitioners providing one to one care including Osteopathy, Physiotherapy, Psychology and Personal Trainers.
Personal Trainers provide individual and small group exercise sessions assisting people to lose weight, improve their physical function and rehabilitate after surgery or illness.
Group sessions are run with a particular focus or target group such as weight loss, balance and stability, functional strength, and more traditional circuit groups for people of all ages and abilities.
It is intended that holding group sessions provides an opportunity for access at a reduced cost whilst also making it a social and motivating experience.
Services provided by MIHS Allied Health Practitioners may be claimed Private Health Insurance, TAC, Workcover, DVA or Medicare if appropriate.
There are also opportunities for other funding for some services under Aged Care, NDIS, Post-Acute Care and other programs for both Allied Health Services and Personal Training or Gym Sessions.
A new Australian Clinical Labs collection centre opened on 6th June 2022. The collection centre is located at the rear of the clinic in the MIHS building.
