Rural General Practitioners

Mansfield generally has an undersupply of Rural General Practitioners.  Opportunities exist to establish your practice to provide visiting medical services to the Mansfield District Hospital and to use procedural skills in Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics (including LSCS) and Anaesthetics.  Federal Government incentives to work in the area apply under the General Practice Rural Incentive Program (GPRIP).  We are classified as Australian Standard Geographical Classification - Remoteness Area 3 (ASGC-RA3) i.e. outer regional.  Modified Monash Area 5 (MM5).
